It has been way too long since we posted a "Love it or Leave it", but we've found a new product at Sephora that has totally piqued our interests. For those of you with oilier skin that have to blot during the spring and summer months, there is now a blotting paper that also delivers a little color. Each set of three sheets contains one that is considered a bronzer, one that is a blush and one that is an illuminizer.

Here's what the Sephora website says...
What it is: A shimmer sheet trio to create a myriad of different looks.
What it does: Get a hint of rosy color, add subtle highlights, and blot away excess oil in a flash with this convenient set. The blush sheets come with a pretty, peachy-pink shade and the highlighting sheets can be applied with or without foundation for flattering results. The mattifying sheets remove oil for on-the-go control. The travel-friendly pack means you can easily stash these innovative and effective sheets in your purse for touch-ups anytime and anywhere.
Retails USD: $16.00 (3x30 Sheets)
What do you guys think? Do you think this will work? We both have more normal to dry skin, but find these interesting. We're so curious at what color these little sheets actually do provide. It might be something great to toss in your purse or gym bag. We hope you'll drop us a comment and let us know your thoughts! It's always so much fun reading what you guys think!
Have a great day!
I don't know how I feel about these! They could either be great or a disaster. I would be most interested in the illuminating ones :)
ReplyDeleteOh that is such a cute idea!! I have dry skin, but I'm definitely curious about how other people will like these!

i yeah I do wanna try those! they have those on the elf website too for wayyy cheaper!
ReplyDeleteIn theory they sound interesting, however being the oily skinned chica I am and also being that I have tried every brand and type of oil sheets on the planet (I've used oil sheets since the early 90's) I'm gonna say that these would probably be a pass for me. Anytime I've ever tried oil sheets that contain powder or color, I have never liked them. They tend to make your face appear chalky. And the illuminator ones would only be beneficial to someone without oily skin, therefore rending them useless because why would a person without oily skin purchase oil sheets? I need no more shine/illumination on my face LOL. But I'm sure someone will purchase them. I'm a big face of Boscia Bloting Linens myself.
ReplyDeleteIf they had a smaller trial size I would say "yes" but for 30 sheets that I might not like, $30 is more than I want to spend. A cool idea though.
ReplyDeleteI could definitely use a product like this since my face is always shiny when wearing makeup! But I think I will stick to my basic sheets.

It certainly sounds interesting! Even though I don't usually have such problems with my skin, I guess I would give it a try anyway :)

Seems interesting but I wonder if it would actually look good. A lot of make up ideas are just a lot better in theory. We'd love to try this out though. Followed you, follow us back? :)
ReplyDeleteHmm interesting - I have oil sheets in my purse and dislike when makeup comes with them however I would fear these might leave a schmear of color on the area it is applied to.
ReplyDeleteOoooh these look so interesting :)) I wonder how they last on the skin?xxx
ReplyDeleteI feel like I wouldn't use the entire sheet and I would waste shimmer! Great concept though!

Definitely an interesting idea. I would probably try it out at home first to see what the color looked like before I tried it in a public bathroom while out for the night! :)

Wendy Williams had these on your show last week. As one of her summer make up bag items.
ReplyDeleteThis is just sooo cute and useful!
ReplyDeleteMan! If they actually work, they sound fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm these sound intriguing...I'd be willing to give them a shot! :)
ReplyDeleteSeems a little weird...but I get the idea of them. I might try them...I work out at lunch and it might be convenient to have something you just wipe on. Thanks for sharing!

I love blotting sheets, but I'm not a fan of shimmery facial powders so I probably wouldn't like these particular papers. Maybe the blush.. maybe. Did you try them? What did you think? XOX
ReplyDeleteI have SUPER oily skin and have used the blotting papers before. But honestly, I now just carry tissues with me to blot my skin. I have found that they work just as well, if not better than the blotters and they are less expensive. I do like the idea of these having color/shimmer on these new ones. I must just have to give them a whirl. ;)

Annnnnnnnnd I don't know how I feel about these. Maybe if my skin wasn't extremely sensitive in addition to being oily in my t-zone {meaning if/when I do blot, my skin gets flushed-looking anyway}, I would try these out. Interesting concept, for sure. Personally, I'd leave it!
ReplyDeleteThis is intriguing! I wonder what they feel like...looks like they may be a little rough?
ReplyDeleteIm not sure about his product hmmm but would also love to hear if anyone has tried it

Wish they had these once upon a time when my skin was oily . . .

smart idea to add a pop of color to your face while blotching... BUT that would mean I'd have to be careful where I blotched!! What if my entire face was ROSE?! hmmmmm I dunnno :/
ReplyDeleteI got something similar in a birch box or my glam and I loved it
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting idea! I don't think I'd use it for blotting though, maybe just to freshen up later in the day. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
