I ♥ Drugstore Makeup TAG!

Questions:
1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand?
2. What are your favorite face, cheek and lip products?
3. Least favorite product?
4. What is the best makeup bargain?
5. What is your favorite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)
6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!
8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

Thanks again to the fabulous Kassie of Shades of Kassie for tagging us! We had so much fun with this TAG. If you haven't met her yet, then you must go subscribe to her channel right away! You won't be disappointed!

We'd love for you guys to participate in the TAG as well, so please let us know if you post a video on YouTube or if you write a post on your blog. Otherwise we'd love for you to answer some of the questions in the comments section below.

Thanks for watching!

  1. 1. That's a tough one, I'm tied with Rimmel and Maybelline.

    2. For the face: Maybelline dream smooth, I don't need to use cheek products, for lips at drugstore...it would have to be Revlon or Rimmel lipsticks.

    3. Covergirl wetslicks or wetshine lip gloss, I tried one a long time ago and it was disgusting, watery, and the flavor was weird and chemically.

    4. Liquid eyeliner, maybe it's just me, but mine lasts so long, and they can get expensive so it's great.

    5. Not sure on this one.

    6. All mascaras, I wish they were cheaper, especially the kind I use with the thickening technology and special bristles.

    7. Um....?

    8. Any of the Revlon singles powder eyeshadow I can't get them to stay on my eyelid, the pigmentation is crap, it's not worth it. Also, stay away from any lip gloss from Covergirl.

That's pretty much my picks, although I haven't gone to a drugstore for makeup in quite some time.

  3. 1. I agree, Maybelline and L'oreal especially and we get Essence here which is quite young and fun.
BB creams have just been released here in SA, so would like to try that out.
    3. Least favorite product are the brand less eyeshadows that you sometime find, they just dust off in seconds.
Great tag with some really fun questions!

  5. I completely agree about the Revlon lip butters. I also have Creme Brulee and it not only turns orange on my lips, but makes them dry and it settles into fine lines. L'oreal Le Balm all the way! I sure wish I could use BB creams. Let me know if they ever make one that works great for super oily chicas such as myself =)

  7. Have to agree about the Maybelline Color Tattoo in "Bad to the Bronze;" I really shouldn't have purchased it because I'm 48 with pale skin, so what was I thinking? I have used it as a fun eyeliner, so it's not a total waste. Also, found a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LQNqHQ85mM) where she puts some matte shadow on top of it and that helps with setting it; might work on your young eyelids :)

  8. I actually love both Bad to the Bronze and Creme Brulee!
My drugstore fail would have to be the Maybelline Great Lash, I hate it!
