January Polish Of The Month
Jayme's Pick - Illamasqua Viridian
While this color is technically referred to as a peacock green with a metallic finish, I think it fits right into the "emerald" category which is awesome since emerald is the color of the year. I have to be honest and tell you that Mendi pointed that out. I just loved this color because it was a little "holiday-ish" and I had never used it. It needed love and now I'm in love. Great formula and I could have only used one coat. Love this!!
Mendi's Pick - Essie Magnetic Snakeskin in Crocadilly
We absolutely didn't plan to both pick a shade of green for our POTM picks this month, but sometimes these things happen and we just roll with it! I picked up three of the six shades of the new Essie Magnetic Snakeskin Collection recently and I couldn't get this green one on my nails soon enough. Magnetic polishes can be a little tricky since you have to hover the magnet precariously close to WET polish in order to achieve the effect. I'll admit that not every nail came out perfect, but I really like the looks of it. You're guaranteed to never get the same manicure twice with one of these.
OK, now that we've shared, it's your turn. What polish has been gracing your nails this month? Now that the holidays are over, we look for little things, like nail polish, to brighten not only our nails but also these dreary and rainy winter days we've been having.
So gorgeous! :)

Love the Essie magnetic nail polish!
ReplyDeleteThat magnetic polish is SO cool!! I haven't seen it on anyone's nails before and it looks fabulous. May have to run out today and pick some up...
ReplyDeleteGreat polishes! I have just started trying to get into the habit of regularly painting my nails. To make myself more motivated I recently joined Julep. I love the nail polished I have received from there so far.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Great polish picks! I love that magnetic polish, really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving some of OPI's Mariah Carey shades lately :)
Pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteHow did the magnetic polish hold up? I tried the Sally Hansen version and LOVED the look but within minutes they started chipping.
I like the ESSIE ~ it's a show stopper, WOW! I can't wear the dark polish when I work. If I do wear anything it's the ESSIE Ballet Slippers. We really shouldn't wear polish in my line of business.. but I usually wear latex gloves so no one can see:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
