Pantone Spring 2013: Grayed Jade & African Violet

We recently brought you our first post (as found here) so you are aware that Emerald is the official Pantone color of the year and that Dusk Blue is hot on its heels. Now we are back with our second installment of our our five part series featuring the colors in the Pantone spring color report. We bring you Grayed Jade (a close cousin of last years favorite mint green) and African Violet. These two colors definitely scream spring and are sure fire indicators that winter will be moving on soon and spring is just around the corner.

  1. I am absolutely loving these colour inspirations. Especially African Violet - what a fun, fearless colour!

  2. Grayed Jade, while I totally approve of the rhyming name, will not be in my closet because it is so close to mint green and I loathe mint green. And the African Violet, while pretty, probably won't make the cut for me either because purple is another of those colors I really don't wear and certainly wouldn't wear in a pastel.

  3. Both these colours are so enchanting and very soothing, I am eager to see them in stores here, they are not shades that we have been treated to in a long while. Love the jade satchel and violet blouse.

  7. I don't think I'll be wearing any greyed jade (too close to mint, which I can't pull off at all!) but I know I'm going to try african violet! Such a pretty color. Love these! Hope y'all are doing well!
