Trip Packing: Clothes & Accessories

I can now say that it is finally time!! We're officially Cali bound early tomorrow morning and it feels SO good! As promised though, I'm here today to show you the ins and outs of how I pack all of my outfits and accessories (plus a few completely random things) in my checked suitcase and carry-on suitcase. There's a method to my madness and this is the system that works for me, but maybe you'll pick up one or two ideas for your next big trip. Here we go...


Are you still with me?!?! If so, you're a trooper. What do you think? A little much?? Or are you an over-packer too? Maybe there's a rehab somewhere for us. But then we'd just over-pack for that too.

While we're visiting the city by the Bay, our schedule includes all of the usual SF must-see things, plus a day trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito, a day trip to Monterey and Carmel and a Dodgers/Giants baseball game on the night of my husband's birthday. We may just need a vacation from this vacation!

Jayme will be holding down the blog while I'm away, so be sure to keep her company!!

I'll see you guys on the other side next week, hopefully with some fun vlog footage and a pictorial recap of my first ever trip to California. Laters, baby.

    I am definitely an over packer! I tend to pack extra outfits, because I wont know what I feel like wearing while I'm away! So bad for this!

    And don't worry about overpacking, I think it's in our DNA as women. I say it's always better to be overprepared than not prepared enough ;)

    Mendi, you are a packing pro! I've always been a bit messy in that department. I'm flying out next week and will be using some packing cubes to help me out. Wish me luck!

    We pack so similarly, it's kinda funny, although I never remember to pack snacks and end up buying them in the city. Have such a blast in SF, hope you get to wear your boots and pretty jackets!
