Beauty Battle: Revlon Balm Stains
As we've mentioned in past Beauty Battles, the purpose of these videos is for each of us to try out the same product, then keep our opinions to ourselves until we can share our thoughts with each other while the camera is rolling. This Beauty Battle features the ever so popular Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. We just had to see what all of the hype was about...

I just bought the Revlon Balm Stain in Charm last week! I was wanting a peachy/nude that was a little more subdued than some of my lipsticks, so it worked out perfect for me. I think it's a perfect day shade, but not quite enough pigment for night.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you talked about these! I have the Chubby sticks but they don't make it in a good color for me or if they do, I can never find it. And this is a stain? Love it! I can't wait to go buy these:)
ReplyDeleteI haven't found a lip stain that's moisturising, most of the ones I've tried in the past have been quite drying and difficult to apply, this sounds good. I'll have to give it a go the next time I'm at a Revlon counter :)

Lovely battle ladies!! Teehee, so cute. What's the difference between stain, lipgloss, and lipstick....I don't stick that much with makeup trends so I don't know about this whole stain thing.

Sounds great! I like the idea of a lip stain but (usually) find them too drying.

ReplyDeleteOkay, so I am glad you addressed the original Just Bitten stains - I have it and love the color I have, Passion. It is such a great pink-red. I wore it originally when I was a flapper for Halloween and it gave me a perfect Bow lip. I wonder if these new sticks come in Passion? I will need to check when I go to ULTA.
I've been curious about these and after watching your video, I went to Rite Aid and got one! I love it! And FYI - Revlon products are 40% off at Rite Aid this week =)
ReplyDeleteI really like the kissable balm stains. Honey is my fave and smitten is great for a darker shade but I do wished they had more color options. I don't think they have a whole lot for my skin tone/hair color. I'm not really into the bright pinks and there seems to be several of those. I do really like precious but have yet to be able to find it.

ReplyDeleteI really like these! I recently bought honey as well and I like it. I wish I had bought a more vibrant color as well but over all I'm pretty pleased with it! July 28th or 29th Clinique starts there gift with purchase and this time they will include a chubby stick. I checked it out the other day and I'm excited to try it. I think the rep said they are offering a bright or a neutral.
