Love it or Leave it...Sultra Color Hair Mascara

It's been awhile since our last "Love it or Leave it" (post seen here) so we are back today with our latest find. Just a couple of weeks ago we posted about "2012 Summer Hair Trends" and one trend that got some attention was the "dip dye". Most of you that commented said that while it looks cool, that you wouldn't really be into doing that to your own hair. But here we have a product that provides a little fun without the commitment... Sephora now has the exclusive Sultra Color Hair Mascara in 4 fabulous shades.

Sultra - Color Hair Mascara
ULTRA PINK

Sultra - Color Hair Mascara
CAPRI CORAL

Sultra - Color Hair Mascara
LAPIS BLUE

Sultra - Color Hair Mascara
ROYAL VELVET

What Sephora says...

What it is: An advanced, lightweight color hair mascara.

What it does: Available in a range of sexy shades, this temporary hair color has the staying power of up to two days. Easy to apply, color washes out easily with shampoo.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens - Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan

What else you need to know: Designed for any hair type, color, or length, Sultra Hair Palette Color Hair Mascaras are ideal for anyone who wants to add a fun pop of color to any hairstyle.

Retails USD: $24.00

So, what do you guys think? Fun or too teeny bopper-ish? Something fresh and flirty? We think this is a fun and non-stressful way to participate in the trend. If you don't like it, all you have to do is wash it out and if you do like it, then it's as easy as applying the mascara.

We hope you'll drop us a comment and let us know your thoughts! It's always so much fun reading what you think on our "Love it or Leave it" posts!

Have a great day!

  3. you know me and how much I love fun hair color haha
although this does remind me of the 8th grade when I used to try the brush in temporary hair color. but this looks a lot simpler and like it would give great results because of that mascara like applicator wand!
Did you see my new turquoise ends yet?!

  5. I love the idea, but don't know if I'd rock it. I DID totally rock that look to an NSYNC concert or two :)

  6. This is fun but not for me! It does remind me of the teeny hair color pieces but cool nonetheless! Thanks for sharing!

  7. I think this sounds super cool! I love it! For some reason, I just feel weird having any portion of my hair colorful when I have a toddler. I'm not sure why because I've seen other moms do it and look super cute! But I just can't. I might go with what Kristen said though and wear the pink in October!

  11. Wait a second. Okay, am I the only one that remembers this being HUGE back in the mid-90s, during the reign of No Doubt and Clueless (before NSYNC, BSB, and Britney Spears even emerged)? It was sold at places like Claires, Limited Too, and Spencer's Gifts. I swear I think I had a blue one I used during my grunge phase!

  13. Sounds fun... plus it would not be damaging to your hair as you don't have to bleach your hair first and then apply a fun color hair dye. I would try it out.

  14. I used to use something like this when I was in high school and it was really cool. I think its cute and fun, especially if you want some temporary colour and a quick change in hair style. Good recommendation!

  19. You know this is something I probably would try- if it wasn't $25.00. If it was $10.00- totally would try it. Just being honest over here!
