Hourglass Product Review
We've been eager to share our thoughts on all of the Hourglass products that we purchased in early December at our Sephora Holiday Girl's Night Out event (see coverage of the event here and our haul here). Josh's enthusiasm for the brand was so contagious that we couldn't leave the event without making our very first Hourglass purchase (or in our case "purchases"). Thanks again to Josh for turning us on to something new (to us!) and fabulous! Be sure to check out Josh's YouTube channel here.
Products mentioned:
Hourglass Trace Lip Liner in Bare
Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Creme Lipsticks in Nocturnal & Icon
Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lipgloss in Primal
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15
Hourglass Aura Sheer Cheek Stain in Flush & Petal
Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara in Onyx
Hourglass Film Noir Lash Lacquer in Kohl
We encourage you guys to stop by Sephora to check out everything that Hourglass has to offer! To learn more about them, including how they're "vegan chic," check out Sephora's Behind the Scenes on the brand here. Be sure to let us know what you think.

Hey girls! Glad you love the products! I'll be in Regency Square Sephora this Saturday (January 28th) from 12-6 if you guys or any of your followers want to come play makeup with me! :]
ReplyDeleteI had no idea nude liners work with all kinds of shade. Great tip girls.
ReplyDeleteThe product looks wonderful. I'm not strictly vegan, but am trying to become healthier. So this is good news.

I've always wanted to try the products but they seem soooo expensive- not to mention, I'm still madly in love with my MAC foundations and Givenchy lip products:)

would love to try this brand out one day, have seen many of josh's videos and he talks about the illume creme-to-powder bronzer duo in bronze light, if only it wasn't $60 here. and id love to try the veil mineral primer but its $79!

Okay now I want so many things. I have never used this brand before but have always been curious. First on my list is that lash lacquer, I just wonder if it has a longer product life than a mascara. I also want the primer, the cheek stain..and so on. Nice, thorough review ladies. I'd love to see more tutorials from you, never too much face Jayme :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Hourglass was also a more natural brand (but of course you notice that it's expensive and luxury by seeing one piece from it)! I'm also happy to hear that the lip glosses are NOT sticky because I'm on a kick of being unable to handle any tackiness on my lips.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Jayme, you may be interested in a new Latisse alternative coming out from Aveda. It's 98.6% naturally derived, non-prescriptive, and cheaper than Latisse. It goes on like a serum/eyeliner morning and night, and I'm testing it out right now. Just thought you may be interested if you've ever seen those commercials and gone "I want those lashes!"
