POTM...January Edition

As you know we started our Polish Of The Month post back in August as seen here and we love showcasing a special polish or polishes every single month.  There are so many awesome polishes out there that they really do deserve their own post! This is our first POTM of the new year!!

January Polish Of The Month

Jayme's Pick - OPI's How's It Snowin'?
This polish was an Ulta Holiday exclusive and is one of my favorites so far. It's silver and charcoal grey with a slight hint of blue. The glitter is multi-size and fabulous! The glitter in the formula is thick but the base color is not so you definitely need two (or three) coats and even with Seche Vite top coat you can feel the texture of the polish which I don't mind at all. When the light hits this polish it really does remind me of that perfect winter morning when it's really cold and sunlight hits the fresh undisturbed snow. I can only dream that VA will actually get some snow this winter...

Mendi's Pick - Essie's Eternal Optimist with Essie's Luxeffect Topcoat in A Cut Above
This pink dusty rose was the perfect color to brighten the winter tones up just slightly without totally committing to a full on Spring-ish pink...plus being that it's a new year and a time when we're all looking ahead to what the coming year will bring, I love that the name, Eternal Optimist, is so encouraging and positive.  I'm completely in love with the entire collection of Essie's Luxeffects polishes, but this rosy pink glitter topcoat was a no-brainer to pair with the dusty rose polish for an accent nail.

What polish(es) are you guys loving this month??  Drop us a comment and let us know.

  7. They are both great - I'd lean more towards the OPI one. Is it weird that I have an aversion to 'Essie' because of its name?! My fave at the moment (summer here) is Chanel's Rose Cache
