We first spotted these about a month ago in a magazine advertisement. Come to find out, they've been out for awhile and were even seen on Oprah last January in her Fashion Must Haves for 2011 episode (seen here). Check out this video from their website:

We'd love to hear your thoughts! Would you drop $30 on a pair of Bootights? Or just keep what's going on in your boots your little secret?? You can find Bootights in select department stores, boutiques or online at http://www.bootights.com/. Our thoughts...we'd definitely like to give a pair of these a try, but at $30 a piece, we'd draw the line at just ONE pair.
I don't think boot tights are worth $30! maybe if I was getting 3 pairs for that price. I can just get a whole 6-pack of cute knee high socks for $10!

wow, I have never seen those. I would be curious to try them but not for $30! That just seems to spendy for tights!
ReplyDeleteVery unique idea but I must be missing the point, is it really that hard to layer???
ReplyDeleteReally, I just wear stockings with socks the way she did at the airport- only, you know, I don't wear boots to a freaking airport because they're a beast to take off.
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of them until now! What an interesting idea!
ReplyDeletethe-creationofbeauty.blogspot.com
I'm not sold on it lol
ReplyDeleteI would just wear some regular black socks over my tights if I really needed to.
But it's not worth the money.
& who wears tights to an airport?
I wear slip ons or sandals
First off "Happy 2012" dolls and wishing you the very best on this new year!!
ReplyDeleteOk now on the post definitely NOT is not fashionable at all. Is a hate for me :((

I'm so mad I didn't think of this because I hate wearing socks over tights!!!! However, I'll still do it because $30 really?
ReplyDeleteI found you through the Monday Beauties Blog Hop & subscribed!

Hmmm...they are interesting. And good ideas. I think they would work.

They sure look nice but I agree that $30 is a little too much.
ReplyDeleteOh good Lord no. At least you can take the socks off if need be, what if you went somewhere and had to take your boots off? You'd be stuck walking around in these? Explaining as you go. Um, no thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love ur blog <3 plz check mine out and add if u like it :) follow me ill follow you

I think the idea of boottights is great and I would love having a pair, but $30 is a little steep for a broke college kid. Loving your blog! I am certiantly following you back.

I think I also missed this train, thanks for the intro to bootights.
ReplyDelete$30 is a lot for tights if converted into my currency, but they do look versatile and comfy. I bet there will be many copies made by different brands with cheaper prices.
Happy New Years. 30 is way to much money to spent on tights.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of these, have not tried out, but interesting concept. -xo Happy New Year.
ReplyDeletegreat idea!!

Thanks to everyone for your comments!! We love reading what you think! :-) Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteYou get what you pay for! I've had a pair for about 5 months and they look like they're still brand new. This is the only pair I've worn this winter. Super comfy sock that doesn't slip and slide.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I love seeing women taking an idea and turning it into an American product. Plus they look so much at the airport and those houses that make you take your shoes off!
ReplyDeleteCool post I have never heard
ReplyDeleteof it! I really like your blog and found you from a comment you left on another blog, would you like to follow each other?

Aww thanks so much for reading the guest post, means much to me :))
ReplyDeleteI've not heard of these either! I might give them a go, but I'm not sure they'd be something that I'd consider a staple in my wardrobe. Will keep an eye out for them, thanks for sharing ladies!
ReplyDeletePS I agree Sam's guest post was great! Thanks for the follow and for stopping by...
I think it's a clever idea but it's not worth the money. I think if you just put black socks on that aren't bulky and old it would look exactly the same as these boottights. I've never heard of this product though, so thanks!

This sounds great! I really hate it when my feet are slipping in my boots. :( But like you, I'd draw the line at one pair given the price.
ReplyDeleteI saw an ad in a magazine, but I can´t seem to find them here in Austria. Would love to read your review!

Macarons and Pearls
Those are great -- but I usually just wear knee high socks, haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comment, now a new follower!

Those are a great idea and the price is worth it if the quality is spot on.
ReplyDeletei'd give it a try, just one pair, to see if it is worth it. i do fear when days that i have unmatched socks or athletic socks on that i'm going to be forced to take my boots off for some reason. if that ever happened, i'd be a smidge mortified. it shouldn't matter, but it does.
ReplyDelete-london camille
Nope I wouldnt pay for it... I am perfectly fine with tights and my cute knee high socks
ReplyDeletehaha seriously
ReplyDeletewhy didn't we all think of these before!
i always do that .. i put socks in top of the
tights. They should make some with shorter
socks for the little boots.

I LOVE my Bootights!!!!! I have owned the grey pin striped ones for over a year...no snags, rips, or holes. The sock is so comfy and warm on my foot. The sizing is great b/c I run a tick on the chubby side but fit into the size D just fine at 5'6, 215 lbs....Give these a try, soooo worth the money!!!! xoD
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone who commented! And we are so happy to see that some of you have actually tried these and report that the quality is excellent!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I've never heard of these. They sound awesome though. :)

I love the idea of these, but $30 for a pair?!? That feels a little steep for tights that aren't Wolford. I'll just keep rocking my tights and whatever crazy socks I pick for the day, its the only time I can wear my fun socks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comment and follow, following you (officially) now!
The frugal side of me says "absolutely not" but the fun side of me says "these might be pretty handy, what colors are they in??" I'm not sure if they're worth it!
ReplyDeleteGood idea, but definitely not worth $30!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely leaving it!
